Soccer the Brazilian Way (STBW) offers four highly advanced programs for both boys and girls teams.
1) Spring Training: Advanced soccer training together with fitness to prepare for league and tournament play.
2) Summer Camps: Intensive individual and team training.
3) Fall Training: Programs designed to increase individual and team skills to meet the demands of playing at the highest levels of youth competition.
4) Winter Program: Develop better foot skills and learn to play better in small spaces. Emphasis on quickness and precision.
Spring Training
- Ten training sessions.
- Ninety-minute sessions.
- Training will be individually designed to meet the particular needs of the team.
Summer Camps
- Week-long summer camps consisting of five consecutive sessions.
- Camps will focus on improving team concepts as well as tactics and strategies.
- Integrating individual skills into team play.
Fall Training
- Ten training sessions.
- Ninety-minute sessions.
- The training for each team will be discussed with team coach and will vary according to the level and age of the team. The training will be designed by STBW head coach.
Winter Program
- Eight ninety-minute sessions.
- Review and refine the skills and tactics learned during the year.
- Sessions will be run in small spaces to develop players’ skill and
ability to make quick decisions.
- Training is modeled after the approach used by all the top Brazilian teams, using a reduced-bounce ball -- a proven method for developing power and dribbling skills.
