Soccer the Brazilian Way (STBW) offers Special Keeper Training to increase confidence, reflects and abilities for the most important defense player of any team. Keeper have to be 100% sure of his capabilities and confidence when defending the Goal. "A keeper without fear is the hardest wall for attackers to penetrate..."

Functional training for Goalkeepers will impact on the success of the team. Learn what really takes to increase your knowledge in the art of Goalkeeping, one of the most important positions in the game.

Keepers, not just stopping shots...

A good Keeper is not only a good shot stopper, he should be a complete player with ability to defend his goal and play as sweeper too. The goalkeeper should be aware of the fact they can use their feet outside the handling zone ( 18 yards box).

Reflexes, confidence and game vision are very important skills to develop and they require dedication and hard work. We focus our Keeper training sessions in a player-to-instructor level to achieve each skill and ensure that each player will receive personal attention.

Keeper Skills development should ensure:

- Flexibility and stretch
- Reflexes and balance
- Confidence and decision-making when under pressure from attackers
- Goal space and the concept of zone
- Sweeper/Keeper techniques.
- Perfecting the goal kick
- How to handle the “pass back”
