Gustavo Donolo (Gus) has played and taught soccer to children for most of his life. Born in Argentina, Gus moved to Brazil at an early age where he learned to play the exciting, fast-paced and highly skilled "Brazilian Style" soccer.
Gus began playing soccer professionally at the age of 15 and quickly rose to the top ranks of South American soccer. He played on top-rated first division teams in Brazil and Argentina and consistently one of the top scores in league and tournament play. In addition, he played for Argentina's National Indoor Team and Brazil's National Beach Soccer Team.
Locally, Gus has served as the head coach for the Northern Regional Olympic Development Program (ODP) Boys U-19 team. He coaches a NCSL team and a WAGS team in addition to training select and travel teams. In 2004/2005 Gus is also serving as a coach for the Super Y League (SYL) Boys U-14 team and was recently Back-to-Back Virginia State Champion with his U-15 boys team. In 2006 Gus will take his team to Regionals. He also coaches a WAGS U-12 Girls teams ranked as one of the top teams in the nation and was Futsal national finalist in California.
One of his U-16 players has just been asked to join the U-17 national Men's team as their center back. This is an elite group of 40 players that is the make-up of two teams for the U17's. This group of players is being groomed to participate in the 2007 World Cup for the U17's. They will train throughput the summer: June 11-22 at Home Depot Center, Carson, California; July 12 - 20 at Domestic Camp in Portland, Oregon; August 4-14 Toyota International Tournament in Nagoya, Japan. All 40 depending on their level of play and phisycal health, will report to Bradenton and IMG Academies on August 20th for their full-time residency program. Bradenton's residency program is an Olympic Games and other professional opportunities. They attend school early morning, and train in the evening and afternoon and their team size will never exceed 40.

Just announced in October three of Gus Donolo's U17 boys have been selected to the 2007 National ODP.
This Fall season Gus just finished coaching his VSA WAGS U-12 team scoring 92 Goals in 9 games.

The VSAHEAT U-12 Girls
is based out of Haymarket VA & participates in division
1 WAGS. in 2007 Gus has won the Concorde Fire Challenge Cup,
the Arlington Spring Invitational and the Jefferson Cup. The
Team was ranked #1 in Virginia, #1 in the Region, and #2 in
the Nation. This season the VSA Heat has won all games in the
2007 WAGS league, having scored 50 Goals for and only 3 goals
against.
On June 7th the VSA HEAT U-12 Girls were 2007 Virginia State
Cup Champions winning the finals 3-0.
On July 3rd the VSA HEAT U-12 Girls were 2007 Regional Champions
wining the finals 2-1, having scored 25
Goals for and only 4
goals against.
On Thanksgiving Holiday VSA HEAT U-13 Girls participated and
won the highly rated 2007 Disney Junior Soccer Showcase tournament
in Orlando. They scored an impressive
18 goals for and 0
goals against during the 5 games of the tournament.
Currently VSA HEAT U-13 Girls team is ranked
#1 in State,
#1 in the Region, and
#2 in the Nation.

Thales Cobra, born
in Brazil, played professional for Guarani Soccer Club both Futsal
and Outdoor Soccer. Thales currently trains NCSL and WAGS trams
for STBW. He ended the 2004 fall season by winning the NCSL division
and both tournaments with his SYC U-12 boys team.

Marcos Chantel, native of Brazil, played professionally in his homeland for top Rio de Janeiro clubs Bomsucesso and Flamengo. He recently spent a season in the Netherlands playing for the Dutch Division 1 team LVV Kyepers. Here in the U.S., he played for the Northern Virginia Royals. Marcos coaches a WAGS team and trains both NCSL and WAGS teams for STBW. He has recently signed a two (2) year contract to play professionally for the Baltimore Blast as a forward.

Marcos S Buono, born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Caco has been a goal keeper for many professional teams in Brazil. Starting in his youth in Santos he played for Portuguese Athletic Association, Vasco da Gama in Rio, Iha Porchat Club in Santos and also trained youth players to bring them to the highest level in competition in Brazil. He is a new addition to STBW staff of professional trainers and responsible for all the goal keeper development for Soccer the Brazilian Way. He is currently training many NCSL and WAGS keepers, running winter goal keeper camps, summer and Residential camps.

Fabio Vicente, born in Rio de Janeiro, played professionally in Vasco da Gama and Botafogo in Brasil 1st Division. In US he played 4 years with full scholarship to the University of the District of Columbia. He was selected three times for the NCAA State Team and he attended two NCAA play-offs. He played for the Brazilian Emabassy FUTSAL National Team winning many Championships for US and Over Seas. As a coach Fabio was very sucessful coaching LMVSA, DC Storm and Bethesda, NCSL and WAGS teams. He also works in all our STBW winter and summer camps. |

Doug Bradley , Graduated from Lake Braddock H.S., where he won two VA state championships in 1982/3. He played 1 year at VA Weslyan College, 3 years (one as a captain) for George Mason University, and 3 years for Washington Stars (American Soccer League, ASL). He was then Assistant Coach for George Mason University (1990/7). He holds a USSF A license since 1995. He served as Competition Manager for World Cup USA 94 and for Atlanta Olympic Games, DC venue, as well as Project Manager for Nike Brazil World Tour, 1997/8 (responsible for staging matches for Brazil around the world. Korea, Japan, Germany, South Africa and Miami). He is currently active in Youth Soccer coaching in area for many WAGS and NCSL teams, running summer camps and winter clinics for STBW. |

He also has 12 years youth coaching experience at various levels. Playing career included NCAA Division 1 @ San Jose State University, and Semi-Pro for San Francisco Glens. Currently Totan trains and runs summer and winter clinics for STBW. |

Ciro Martinez, is a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) licensed soccer coach, holding among others the USSF National C soccer coaching license. Ciro has over 10 years experience coaching youth soccer and is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and United States Youth Soccer. He Trains many wags and NCSL teams for STBW, currently coach of a U-12 NCSL team. He also runs summer and winter Futsal clinics for STBW.

Caio Gouveia, born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Caio has been recognized for his soccer abilities both as a player and as a coach/trainer. He played for one of the best clubs in Brazil and was selected as one of the top 20 Division 1 youth players for eight consecutive years. Caio received a full scholarship to play soccer for George Mason University. He currently is a member of the Brazilian Embassy team and trains NCSL and WAGS teams.

Marcelo Iarussi, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, playing from 1983 to 1989 in Boca Juniors, from 1991 to 1992 in Corporacion Deportiva Tulua and in 1993 moved to Club Atletico Guadalajara. He is currently training WAGS and NCSL teams for Soccer the Brazilian Way.

Kleber Batista, was born in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. He playe4d in the Ipiranga Soccer Club and later transferred to Brazilian First Division. Victoria Soccer Club. Currently Kleber is responsible for developing youth programs at SYSA for Soccer the Brazilian Way, besides training WAGS and NCSL teams for STBW.

Jaime Ortiz, was registered as a professional soccer player in 1996 for the MLS, later playing for The Washington Mustangs. He has been teaching soccer for many years. He is currently training WAGS and NCSL teams for Soccer the Brazilian Way and is responsible for developmental training for our youth programs.

Jimmy Yu, born in Adison, New Jersey. Jimmy played for the soccer club "FC Richmond Magic". He also participated in various Virginia/State ODP Teams. He was Team Captain for 4 year in Albemarle High School. George Mason University Soccer Team gave him the opportunity to play as Defender. He currently trains WAGS and NCSL teams for STBW.

Boris Diazmanzur, born in Peru 1978, played as soon as I could walk and have been improving my game ever since. My biggest accomplishment was making the US National Armed forces team to compete in tournaments in Barbados and in Germany; Achieving a 1st place in Barbados and a convincing 2nd Place in Germany. I follow a strictly South American style of play which has yielded me plenty of good results throughout my soccer career. I’m also responsible for introducing some “South American Flavor” into US Armed Forces Soccer, along with obtaining great results with, The Marine Team, Lake Braddock High School and Even Arsenal in VA.

William "Titou" Fierro, born in Switzerland, he has played in Switzrland in the Junior World Cup in Saint-Denis, France "Banlieux Du Monde" He has played for the French Club Les Genets d'Anglet for one season, then was transferred and played for Real Sociedad winning the annual Saragoza tournament against Athletico Bilbao.

Nicholas Arzani, born in Buenos Aires, Argentine. He played for Semi-Pro for Deportivo Bella Vista. Coach and Captain of his high school winning the Bonarense Regional Cup, and awarded MVP. From 2000-2002 he coached and trained Youth Division teams at Club Deportivo y Social Bella Vista, with Carlos Salvador Bilardo (Argentine National Team coach that won 1986 World Cup and finalist in 1990). He also worked as assistant to Roberto Passucci (ex Boca Juniors professional player). Today Nick trains and coaches NCSL and WAGS teams for STBW.

Victor, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He played professionally for San Lorenzo de Almagro Athletic Club. After 5 years was transferred to Boca Juniors and ended his career in San Telmo after going through a Knee surgery. Today he trains and coaches teams for STBW and is involved in training and coaching the Junior Boys Varsity team at Sidwell Friends School in Washington DC.

Andrea Gouveia, Brazilian-born, Andrea played 5 years for the University of Maua in Sao Paulo and was honored by being chosen to represent the School in the FUPE national tournament. She has extensive experience coaching and training youth soccer teams in Brazil and has developed several programs for developing skills, tactics and conditioning for young players. She currently coaches a NCSL team for STBW.

Bethanie L. Richards, born in Iowa and raised in North Carolina, she was granted a full scholarship for Mt. Olive College, North Carolina. She is current training NCSL and WAGS teams for STBW. Bethanie is also competing in the Premier Soccer League and is the record holder for assists.

Jaon, has played and been fan of the game his entire life. Born in London, England, Jaon moved to Washington DC, grew up playing in NCSL, played on the Virginia Tech club soccer team and still plays on several men's leagues in the DC area. Jaon's focus is on developing technical ability. The ability to take defenders on and attack is at the core of his philosophy. He accomplishes this by designing a custom Coerver based system for your team. The Coerver system improves the technical abilities of your players by teaching them a series of moves on the ball that sparks their own creativity. Jaon holds the USSF "C" License. He has served as an Assistant Coach for the U-16 Boys Northern Region Olympic Development Program (ODP), evaluator for the U-12 Boys ODP (Virginia and Texas), and currently serves as a trainer for teams in the Super Y League (SYL). He has trained teams in both NCSL & North Texas Soccer.

Hector Manuel Cuevas Jr., played in NY State ODP Team and had a full scholarship for Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck, NJ (NCAA DIV 1). In1991 - Northeast Conference Rookie of the year & 2nd team Mid-Atlantic Region selection.
He played professionally in the FC Augsburg and Heidelberg Kircheim FC in Germany. He was Asst Coach Pinecrest HS Varsity Women's soccer team (Pinehurst, NC). Currently he trains travel teams for STBW and will be in our summer and Residential Camps. |
